About Chopin Avenue
Our mission
Chopin Avenue was founded to give rising pianists — especially those with few chances to perform on a big stage — a platform to be heard. We design competitions, residencies, and professional programs that turn practice-room work into real performance experience.
Rooted in Chopin, open beyond him
Chopin Avenue takes its name and spirit from Fryderyk Chopin's legacy, but every avenue has its side streets: our programs stay open to other composers and other genres, and to the audiences a purely classical program might otherwise miss.
Organizer
Chopin Avenue's competitions and festivals are organized by BC INT Limited, based in Hong Kong, together with a jury and faculty of internationally active pianists and educators, with honorary recognition from Polish diplomatic missions in the regions where we hold in-person rounds.
Honorary patron
The Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Hong Kong has lent honorary patronage to Chopin Avenue's Hong Kong rounds, co-organized concerts with us, and its Consuls General have served on our honorary jury.
In the press
Chopin Avenue has been featured on RTHK Radio, discussing Fryderyk Chopin's life and legacy alongside Polish diplomatic representatives.
