Chopin Avenue International Piano Competition 2021 – Spring Edition in an online mode concluded in the last weekend of March. The competition attracted almost 300 participants from 36 countries including Poland and Hong Kong. The Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Hong Kong is proud to continue as the strategic partner of the Competition popularizing the sounds of the Chopin Music and the subtlety of the Polish culture across continents.
An honorable Jury composed of internationally acclaimed piano performers and university professors from South Korea, and the United States once again caught the participantsβ hearts and guided them on their musical journey along Chopin Avenue and beyond. Dr. Hyunkyung Kate Lee headed respected Jurors including Dr. Sara Davis Buechner, Jose Ramos Santana, YoungSook Kim, YoonJung Park and Honorary Judge – Dr. Aleksander Danda.
