On 25th of October the very first open-air piano concert of Chopin music in Hong Kong took place in the magical heart of Wan Chai neighbourhood – Lee Tung Avenue. The open-air concert and Chopin poster exhibition and a medley of Chopin pieces reflected the spirit of the Warsaw Lazienki Park Sunday Chopin Concerts held every summer.
Β To bring the atmosphere of Warsawβs Chopin Competition to Hong Kong the Consulate General of Poland joined hands with Chopin Avenue, which resulted in 2 hours of live music beautifully performed by Dr. Hyunky- ung Kate Lee.
