On 25th of October the very first open-air piano concert of Chopin music in Hong Kong took place in the magical heart of Wan Chai neighbourhood – Lee Tung Avenue. The open-air concert and Chopin poster exhibition and a medley of Chopin pieces reflected the spirit of the Warsaw Lazienki Park Sunday Chopin Concerts held every summer.
To bring the atmosphere of Warsaw’s Chopin Competition to Hong Kong the Consulate General of Poland joined hands with Chopin Avenue, which resulted in 2 hours of live music beautifully performed by Dr. Hyunky- ung Kate Lee.
